KRST is a commercial radio station located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, broadcasting
to the Albuquerque-Santa Fe, New Mexico area on 92.3 FM. KRST airs a country music format.

Album Oriented Rock, "Out" - Country, "In"

92.3 KRST owes its current incarnation to movie actor and former "SweatHog" John Travolta. Prior to the release of the 1980 hit "Urban Cowboy," KRST was a very successful and widely popular Album Oriented Rock station. The station was the classic representation of what FM radio used to be: Silky-smooth voiced DJ's, Tracks played well into the deepest part of an artist's collection of albums and strictly vinyl.

On air personalities

The Get up Gang, the KRST morning show, won an ACM in 2006 for Best Show (Medium Market). The Get up Gang members are Dawson, Kristina, Kat Kasey (traffic), Marisa Maez (news), and Jason Stiff (meteorologist).

Juan Velasco follows the Get up Gang and does the KRST Country Lunch at noon. After Juan is Ann Perkins, who is on from 3-7 PM. After Ann Perkins, Paul "Wildman" Bailey is on from 7-12 AM. Christi An, who used to do the shift from 12:00 AM to 5:00 AM, only fills in for Paul Bailey when he is out. On Sundays Eric Butler comes on from 6-10 AM and does classic country. Kat Kasey is KRST's traffic reporter and works on the weekends as a DJ instead of her usual job as traffic reporter.
