Koji Suzuki (鈴木光司 "Suzuki Kōji" born
May 13 1957 ) is a Japanesewriter , who was born inHamamatsu and currently lives inTokyo . Suzuki is the author of the "Ringu cycle" of novels, which has been adapted into amanga series. [http://www.darkhorse.com/Books/12-869/Ring-Volume-1-TPB] His first book, "Ring" (also known as "Ringu") has been made into a Japanese film, which was remade into a US movie. Fluent in English, he has written several books on the subject of fatherhood. His hobbies include traveling and riding motorcycles around (hobbies found on the back of The Ring, 2002, Koji Suzuki). He is currently on the selection committee for theJapan Fantasy Novel Award .Bibliography
