Loyie Nawlin Humphrey (Buddy) (born September 29, 1935 in Dallas, Texas) was an American collegiate and professional football player who retired after the 1966 NFL season.

After playing football at Kilgore High School, in Kilgore, Texas, at Baylor University, Humphrey was an All-Conference player at quarterback. He scored the winning touchdown on a quarterback sneak in Baylor's 1957 Sugar Bowl victory. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in the second round in 1959, as result of a trade with Washington. He was a member of the Los Angeles Rams during the 1959 and 1960 season. In 1961 he was traded to the Dallas Cowboys. He left the Cowboys at the end of the 1961 season and was a member of the St. Louis Cardinals from 1963 through 1965. In 1966 Buddy played for the American Football League's Houston Oilers.

After his pro football career was over, Buddy had a very successful career as a high school football coach and educator. He served as head coach, principal and athletic director for his home town of Kilgore, Texas.

He died April 21, 1988, in Gregg County, Texas.
