José Bispo Clementino dos Santos (May 12, 1913June 14 2008) was a Brazilian samba singer known as Jamelão. [ [http://www.allbrazilianmusic.com/en/Artists/Artists.asp?Status=ARTISTA&Nu_Artista=284 All Brazilian Music.com] ] He began in music as a tamborim player, but later became known as a kind of crooner in the samba-canção style. He became the official singer at samba school Mangueira's carnaval parades and has toured Europe as a solo performer. It's considered to be the best singer of Lupicinio Rodrigues songs. He recorded in 1972 the album Jamelão Interpreta Lupicinio. Although many of Jamelão's albuns have Lupicínio songs.

He died on June 14, 2008, of multiple organ failure.
