Toxic Legacy

Toxic Legacy

Toxic Legacy is a documentary by Susan Teskey and it was produced for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. It was broadcast on the CBC and Discovery Times in September, 2006.

It deals with the toxic legacy of 9/11 dust or Ground Zero dust, following the September 11, 2001 attacks upon the World Trade Center.

It addresses the US government's minimization of local health risks in the vicinity of Ground Zero site of the World Trade Center. It also addressed the praise of Ground Zero first responder heroes and the deleterious health effects thousands of these workers have experienced since their cleanup of the Ground Zero site.
