Banksia "cultivar . It arose as a chance seedling from a seed extracted from a "Banksia canei " (Mountain Banksia) cone collected by Alf Salkin at Wulgulmerang, Victoria, thespecies ' type locality. It was registered as a cultivar on 29 March 1978, and named in honour of thebotanical illustrator Celia Rosser .Whereas "Banksia canei" grows as a shrub up to two metres high, "Banksia" 'Celia Rosser' had a prostrate form. It also had very deeply lobed leaves compared to its parent species.
Unfortunately, there have been no known extant plants of this cultivar for the past 15 years.
