Biography
Born in Sweden and raised in Chicago, She first joined the Los Angeles television station KABC in 1972 as a reporter and anchor, she would anchor the newscasts at 6:00 pm and 11:00 pm. Lund left the station for 4 years in 1986 to raise her family and returned to the station in 1990, until she officially left the station in 1998.[2]
During her second tenure she anchored the 11:30 am and 4:00 pm newscasts. Throughout much of her career, she co-anchored with the late Jerry Dunphy[3].
Personal
Lund has two grown daughters, and currently runs a small general store in Baranof Warm Springs, Alaska. She is the only resident who lives there year round.[citation needed]
