Lahore Grammar School

= Overview =

Lahore Grammar school is a private school based in the Pakistani city of Lahore. The Lahore Grammar School was established in January 1979 at its Gulberg Campus where it retains a branch till this day.

Education

Today Lahore Grammar School provides education to both boys and girls till A’ Level. It has extended its network to cater to the needs of the middle income group in its Landmark Schools. The LGS College for women offers a degree programme in arts and sciences as well as a bachelors in computers. LGS has branches in Islamabad, Karachi,Quetta,Peshawar, Multan, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Wah Cantt and . It offers quality education to the low income group through the Lahore Education Society School, entirely supported and funded by LGS.

Charity work

The student body of LGS 55-Main Gulberg has been raising money through bake sales in school to give scholarships to students at the Pakistan Society for the Rehabilitation of the Disabled (PSRD) for the past 11 years. They have also been going to help children who are being prepared for the Matric at this institute. In fact L.G.S. takes great pride in the fact that it is a School system that gives 55% of its earnings in scholarships, fee waivers and donations to education in various forms.

Landmark Project

In April 1996, Lahore Grammar School started another network called the Landmark Project with the aim to provide quality education to low-income groups. The Landmark Project now operates several branches in Lahore and its network is increasing rapidly.
