Conrad Lee is an American by choice. Born in
China , Conrad and his widowed mother fled thePeople's Republic of China . As an immigrant, Conrad embraced his new country with a love and enthusiasm that has only grown through the intervening years. Earning his B.S. in engineering from theUniversity of Michigan , Conrad then completed his MBA at theUniversity of Washington .Conrad and his wife of 39 years, Winnie, settled in Bellevue in 1967. They raised their son, Chris, and daughter, Jennie, in the public schools of Bellevue, Washington.
Conrad Lee, American politician, was also a candidate for the
United States House of Representatives in 2004. He ran as Republican in the Eighth Congressional District ofWashington . The seat was held by RepublicanJennifer Dunn , who is retired. SheriffDave Reichert eventually won that seat. Lee also ran earlier for the state House of Representatives.
