FashionTelevisionChannel is a Canadian English language category 1 digital cable specialty channel owned by CTVglobemedia. FTC features the latest from the fashion industry, photography, art, architecture and design. The channel was fashioned after the hit CTVglobemedia series, "FashionTelevision".

History

Licensed as "FashionTelevision: The Channel" by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) on November 24, 2000; it was launched as "FashionTelevisionChannel" on September 7, 2001 by CHUM Limited. On June 22, 2007, CTVgm took control of FashionTelevisionChannel as a result of a takeover of CHUM Limited.
