Army of One (recruiting slogan)

"Army of One" is a former recruiting slogan that was used by the United States Army. [ [http://www.blackprwire.com/clients/Army/index.html#oneforce Army Insight ] ] It replaced "Be All You Can Be", the Army's slogan for twenty years. The reason for the replacement is believed to be that the slogan "Army of One" is contrary to the idea of teamwork. It was also very easy for political cartoonists to make fun of it by saying, I.E. "If you join, we can change the sign to Army of Two!"
