Akihiko Yoshida (吉田明彦) is a
Japan esevideo game character designer currently working forSquare Enix . He also does the drawings that the3D model s or 2D sprites will be based upon. Yoshida was born in1967 and joined Square in1995 , which the company was known by at the time before the merger withEnix . He is well known for the main character designs and background design supervisor in "Final Fantasy XII " for thePlayStation 2 as well as the character designs for "Final Fantasy Tactics " and "Vagrant Story " (also providing background art direction) both for thePlayStation and the "Final Fantasy III" remake for theNintendo DS .
