Alan Tanner

Alan Tanner

Alan Tanner (born October 16, 1975) is a film director living in Omaha, Nebraska. Tanner is originally Orange Park, Florida(suburb of Jacksonville, Florida.) He directs the humorous "weekly movies" for the Saddle Creek Records website, and has made several short films.

Tanner formerly resided in Athens, GA, where he worked at Schoolkids record store and was also a popular bartender at the Manhattan Cafe. He used to be a member of the band Your American Math and has a solo project Knitting Club.

Tanner currently plays guitar for Saddle Creek recording artist Maria Taylor. In addition, he is a barista at an Omaha coffee shop.

Tanner dates Tilly and the Wall singer Neely Jenkins.

Tanner has 3 sisters.

Tanner also directed Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band's music video, Souled Out!!!
