Evan Hardy Collegiate Institute is located on the East side of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, serving students from grades 9 through 12. It is also known as "Evan Hardy", "Hardy", or simply "EHCI".

Evan Hardy Collegiate was named for noted University of Saskatchewan professor Evan A. Hardy. The school was opened in 1966.

Evan Hardy is the first school in Saskatoon to offer IPA (Integrated Performing Arts) to students, which incorporate three to four drama-related classes into a regular semester. Evan Hardy also centers the first Saskatoon Media School, an entire semester of media-based classes for students all around Saskatoon and area.

Hardy is well known to have more provincial sports banners than any other Saskatchewan high school, a reputation that they keep in high standard. This past school year, their senior football team won city championships, and girls' soccer team won provincials.

ports

This year's Golf team consisted of 4 amazing young athletes, with a 5th as a substitute. Prior to the controversy that arose during the few days when cuts were made, approximately 25 students attended try-outs. This year's team consisted of Jerry Christianson, Tanner Hall, Tanner McGregor, and Kendall Krepps. Of the four players, Tanner M and Addison were returning for their 3rd seasons. The substitute was Chris Schneider. Team jackets were purchased in an attempt to discourage regional disparity and implement a form of team unity.

Class presidents

The Evan Hardy SRC (student representative council) consists of several representatives of each grade, a team of directors, and three volunteer teacher advisors. The elections for Grade 10-12 leaders takes place at the end of the year. Two Grade 9 representatives are elected during November earlier in the year, and three more are later appointed through an interview process.

A list of Grade 10-12 representatives can be found in the school handbook. A list of Grade 9s can be found in the February newsletter. Both are accessible through [http://schools.spsd.sk.ca/evanhardy/school/info.htm the main website] .
