Spencer Gore (artist)

Spencer Frederick Gore (1878-1914) was a British painter who was first president of the Camden Town Group. Influenced by Post-Impressionists, he experimented with colour in his works, as seen in his painting "Hartington Square". He died aged thirty six, from pneumonia.
