South Kensington ,London ,England , is one of four such centres world-wide. It is concerned withIsmaili culture, religion and social aspects, acting as acommunity centre and meeting place. This1981 building is of a striking modern design by Casson Conder Partnership. A particularly interesting architectural element of the London Ismaili Centre is its roof topcharbagh garden.Immediately to the north on the opposite side of
Cromwell Gardens is theVictoria and Albert Museum . To the south isThurloe Place and to the west isExhibition Road . The nearest tube station is South Kensington, close by to the south-west.
