The Anglican Diocese of Armidale is a diocese of the Anglican Church of Australia, located in the state of New South Wales. The diocese was created in 1914 as a result of a division of the previous Diocese of Grafton and Armidale which was created by letters patent in 1863. Similar to the Dioceses of Sydney and North-West Australia the Diocese of Armidale is noted for its Evangelical teaching.
The diocese includes the regional cities of Tamworth and Armidale and the towns of Glen Innes, Tenterfield, Inverell, Moree, Gunnedah and Narrabri.
The cathedral church of the diocese is St Peter's Cathedral, Armidale, and the current Bishop of Armidale is The Right Reverend Dr Peter Brain.

Link Diocese
Following a 2004 synod visit by Bishop Edward Muhima of the Diocese of North Kigezi in Uganda, there has been a forging of a support link between the two Dioceses.
