Sir Henry Ripley, 1st Baronet

Sir Henry William Ripley, 1st Baronet (23 April 1813 – 9 November 1882), was a British businessman and Liberal politician.

Ripley was a partner in Edward Ripley and Son, an important dyeing company based in Bradford. He was also active in politics and was returned to Parliament for Bradford in 1868, a seat he held until 1869 and again from 1874 to 1880. The latter year he was created a Baronet, of Rawdon in the County of York. He died in November 1882, aged 69. Ripley's third son Frederick was created a Baronet in his own right in 1897.
