The British Society for the History of Science

The British Society for the History of Science (BSHS) was founded in 1947. It is the United Kingdom's main learned society concerned with the history of science, technology and medicine.

The Society publishes a peer-reviewed quarterly journal, the "British Journal for the History of Science" (BJHS), a newsletter (three times a year) and a monograph series. BSHS awards three prizes every two years.
