Montuori was born at Rosario, Argentina.
During his career he played for Universidad Católica in Santiago and in AC Fiorentina from 1955 to 1961, he played 162 Serie A matches scoring 72 goals. In Coppa Italia he played 13 matches scoring 6 goals, in 1956-57 the European Cup he played 7 games and scored 1 goal, and in Mitropa Cup he played 2 matches.
He won one Italian title in season 1955-56 with Fiorentina. For Italy national football team he got 12 international caps and scored 2 goals.
He died in Florence in 1998.
