November 3 ,1980 ) is the lead singer and one of the founding members of the post hardcore/emo band Story of the Year. He graduated from Ritenour High School in Saint Louis, MO in 1999 and is one of the founding members of Story of the Year. He is married. He started playing guitar and singing since he was about 13. In 2003, Dan Marsala wrote the lyrics to "Until The Day I Die". That song would appear on the album "Page Avenue", which was released on September 16 of that year. It is somewhat described as that of a breakup song, a love ballad, or a song for a rocktastic love couple. Other songs such as "Dive Right In" deal with times at the beach. It can be classified as a surfing tune. "Divide And Conquer" basically deals with wars and enemies. Most of the songs on the album contains instances of Dan Marsala screaming (and showing signs of teen angst) throughout seven of the twelve songs on the album. Most of us would never make it that far. After this album, Marsala (and Adam Russell, Philip Sneed, Ryan Phillips, as well as Josh Wills) would not stop there. In other words, the next chapter in Dan Marsala's life was about to begin. The whole world waits for the outcome.
