John Gagliardi (b. June 11, 1974) is a professional lacrosse player on the Long Island Lizards of Major League Lacrosse. Gagliardi grew up in Manhasset, NY, at first playing midfield, eventually switching his position to defense at age fifteen. John was an Academic All-American his senior year. One of the Manhasset "Fab Five" of the 1990s,Fact|date=February 2007 Gagliardi graduated Manhasset High School in 1992, going on to college at University of Virginia before transferring to Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore MD. At JHU, Gagliardi earned All-America honors twice, once as a third team in 1996 as a junior, and in 1997 as a senior as a first team All-American.

Gagliardi played for the New York Saints and Philadelphia Wings of the National Lacrosse League between 1998 and 2001. In 1999, he was selected to the US Lacrosse team, winning the Lacrosse World Cup that year while starting on Defense. In 2001, Gagliardi joined the Long Island Lizards, and has been an All Star since 2002. John was also on the US National Men's Team in 2006 where he earned All-World Honors on Defense.

Outside of Gagliardi's personal lacrosse experience, he along with Paul Carcaterra founded the No Limit Lacrosse Camps in 1997, and every summer teaches youth from ages 7-18.Fact|date=February 2007 He also founded his own lacrosse equipment & apparel company in 2005, called Maverik Lacrosse.Fact|date=February 2007.
