County Wicklow , Ireland.The village lies on the junction of the R755 to
Roundwood and the N11, 5 km (3 miles) south ofBray . Nestled between the Big and Little Sugarloaf Mountains, it is in one of the most scenic parts of the county, in the northeastern foothills of theWicklow Mountains , near theGlen of the Downs .The village is named after
Saint Mocheanog , a companion ofSaint Patrick , who, according to Irish legend, baptised the children ofLir just before their death. The village has few amenities, the local shop is in a petrol station franchise, yet it supports its own Primary School, Post Office, Church and Pub, the Glencormac Inn, known locally as Sweeneys.
