catchphrase is "Holy Mackinaw!", typically used when the Leafs score or a big save is made. He is accused of stealing this phrase from a California Spirit Yell, but says he got the phrase from his dad who said "Holy Mackinaw" instead of swearing.Greg Millen is currently his broadcasting partner, after his long time partnerHarry Neale accepted a position in Buffalo with the Sabres. Bowen and Millen are the voices of Leaf games ontelevision throughLeafs TV or Rogers Sportsnet Ontario. Bowen also calls theradio play-by-plays through AM 640 on Saturday nights during the regular season teamed withJim Ralph and in the playoffs for the Leafs when the television broadcasts are done by "Hockey Night in Canada ". Sudbury Secondary School , where he was part of the Copper Cliff RedmenNorthern Ontario Championship Hockey Club of 1967.
