Archbishop's School

Archbishop's School

Archbishops School is a mixed-ability Protestant Christian state school situated in Canterbury, Kent.

It is a school for pupils and students of all abilities from the ages of 11 to 19. With approximately 1000 pupils, the school is small enough to ensure that all its members are well-known and well cared for, but large enough to offer a full range of opportunities and facilities for the best development of the individual talents and interests of pupils of all abilities.

The school is situated on a parkland site on the outskirts of Canterbury, in Kent.

The school has an experienced Learning Support department, which aims to provide pupils with the skills they need to become independent learners. The school is fully inclusive: pupils are involved in all aspects of school life irrespective of their individual needs. Pupils who may exhibit different needs at different times are able to access a variety of support strategies from the department as they seek to address needs on an individual basis.

The Archbishop's School Learning Support Department includes a provision for pupils with a visual impairment. Pupils in the provision are supported in-class with modified materials and technology as required.
