Kerava (pronounced|ˈkerɑʋɑ; "Kervo" in Swedish) is a town and municipality in
Finland .It is located in the province of
Southern Finland and is part of theUusimaa region. The municipality has a population of 33,107 (2007-11-30 ) and covers an area of 30.86 km² of which 0.11 km² is water. Thepopulation density is 1,019.87 inhabitants per km².The municipality is unilingually Finnish.
