Aristazabal Hawkes is the double bass player for the British indie band Guillemots. She was born in Sointula, an isolated village on Malcolm Island in British Columbia, Canadacite web|url=http://www.oldies.com/artist-view/Guillemots.html|title=Guillemots Biography: Oldies|accessdate=2008-06-10] . Her first name is of Basque origin, but she is not.
