European Design Awards

The European Design Awards, also known as the ED-Awards, are annual awards presented to European designers for outstanding work in the communication design field. The ED-Awards are judged by a panel of representatives from eleven European design magazines. The awards are presented at the end of the three day European Design Conference, and the submissions are featured in the ED-Awards Catalogue.

Categories

There are forty award categories, in ten groups. [ [http://www.ed-awards.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=38&Itemid=98 EDAwards - General ] ] There are also two general awards, selected from the finalists in the forty categories. The jury then chooses one of forty category winners as the winner of the ED Grand Prize. Finally, each agency collects points for its submissions, and the agency with the most points is awarded the ED Agency of the Year award.
