Sooranad

Sooranad is a small village located in the northern part of Kollam district in Kerala, India. Sooranad North and Soorand South are collectively known as Sooranad. It is the first cleanest village in Kerala,Fact|date=February 2007 and it can be accessed from both MC (Main Central) Road and NH 47.Modernism is just peeping into this village.Fact|date=February 2007

Sooranad Government Higher secondary school and Patharam public school are two main educational institutes in these villages.

A tributary of the Kallada River flows through this village. Pallikkal river is flowing through these villages.
