The Brachypelma klaasi (also called Mexican Pink) is a tarantula endemic to Mexico.

Appearance
The setae of this species have a uniformly rusty appearance. Adults have a body length of about 16 cm.
Name
The species is named in honor of Peter Klaas, the collector of the species.
