Saddar literally meaning "cardinal", is an area in the city of Hyderabad that serves as the main governing body of the city and the district. It constitutes the centre of the city geographically and joins the rest of the suburbs at each end. The area also engulfs the Cantonment area as well. The municipality duties fall under the civic agency Cantonment Board.
