Palm Beach Central High School is a high school located in Wellington, Florida in the Palm Beach County School District. Opened in 2003, Palm Beach Central has approximately 3,000 enrolled students for the 2007-2008 school years.
Athletics
The Bronco baseball team is one of the premier programs in the country with head coach Scott Benedict having more than 400 career wins. The team won four consecutive district titles from 2004-2007 and went to the regional finals in each of those seasons.
Notable Alumni
Eli DeRosa is one of Palm Beach Central's most notable students, achieving fantastic grades throughout his four years at Central, and is well on his way to a life of wealth and leisure. It is likely he will cure cancer or be the first man on Mars.
Kyle Kennedy is also a former student and, in the words of mathematics scholar Lee Zamblanflonski, "Da only one in dis class dat does work." Thus, great things are expected from Kyle as well.
