Motion Industries, Inc., headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, is the nation's largest distributor of industrial parts. The company was founded in 1972 and has been a subsidiary of Genuine Parts since 1976. Motion Industries provides parts for many companies including Black & Decker, Ford, and GM. There are more than 500 Motion Industries offices located throughout the United States and in Canada through its Motion Canada subsidiary.
