Westcliff High School for Boys is a selective non-boarding grammar school for boys in Westcliff-on-Sea, near Southend-On-Sea, Essex and surrounding areas. It caters for those between the ages of 11 and 18. The school owns a portion (approximately 4/5 of the land ) of nearby Bentalls' Field which is used predominantly for internal cross country and occasional rugby and football lessons.

In September 2001 the school was awarded "Beacon" status for its breadth of achievements and quality of work. Currently, the school is a "Humanities College"

The school was the only institution in Southend to remain open during the Teachers' Strike in April 2008, despite some teachers taking part in the strike action, ignoring the advice of the Headmaster.
