Alberto Vázquez-Figueroa (b.
November 11 ,1936 inSanta Cruz de Tenerife ,Canary Islands ) is a Spanish novelist.Biography
Vázquez-Figueroa and his family fled the Canary Islands during the
Spanish Civil War forAfrica . Since his youth, he visited the Sahara and described the culture of the desert region. He attended the studios of the _es. Escuela Oficial de Periodismo deMadrid in a part of 1962 and worked in the Destino specials. He was a war correspondent in La Vanguardia, forTVE (Televisión Española ) and for the program " _es. A toda plana" with de la Cuadra Salcedo and Silva. As a correspondent, he documented revolutionary wars in countries such asBolivia , theDominican Republic , andGuatemala .He later wrote his first novel, " _es. Arena y viento" ("Wind and Air"), and in 1975, he published as many as 14 to 15
novella s such as "Ébano". His other works include "Tuareg ", " _es. Ébano", and " _es. El perro" as well as the ambitious sagas of " _es. Cienfuegos", " _es. Bora Bora", " _es. Manaos" and " _es. Piratas". He has also published an autobiography called "Anaconda ".As president of a company he made a process consisting of flowing sea water at an elevation of 600 m to form a natural
osmotic pressure . The company was constructed in Jordan.Literature
