Peter Kušnirák is a Slovak astronomer. He is a prolific discoverer of asteroids and minor planets, such as his 1999 discovery of the minor planets 21656 Knuth and 20256 Adolfneckař, both located in the Aquarius constellation at the time. He is based out of numerous observatories in the Czech Republic, and works solo or with partners. He discovered the asteroid, 26401 Sobotište, in 1999.[1]
