Illawarriors

The Illawarriors are a new rugby union franchise based in the Illawarra, New South Wales, Australia. Although being inducted into the Sydney Tooheys Shute Shield competition in 2006, it wasn't until 2007 that they played their first full season.

While many Sydney teams have the luxury of being able to recall contracted super 14 players, the "Illawarriors" are a young, fresh faced team full of unknown potential. With no-one to turn to for the same sort of experience, that Sydney has to offer.

They play their home matches out of WIN Stadium.

2007 Season----In their first season in the Top Grade, they finished last out of the 13 Clubs. They managed to win one game instead of the Southern Districts Rugby Club who won no games yet the Warriors couldn't get enough bonus points to beat the Southern Districts Rugby Club on the Final Finishing Position on the 2007 Table.
