- Tooheys New Cup
The Tooheys New Cup (TNC) is a
rugby union competition established by theNew South Wales Rugby Union (NSWRU) in 2002 as a stepping stone between the existing grade rugby (seeShute Shield ) andSuper 14 competitions. Open to the existing 12 grade clubs, the TNC featuresSuper 14 players not on international duty and the occasional Wallaby. In seasons 2004-2005 theCanberra Vikings competed in the Tooheys New Cup, in the 2005-2006 & 2007 theCentral Coast Waves & Illawarra Warriors addition to the Sydney based sides. As of season 2007, the Tooheys New Cup ceased to exist.Tooheys New Cup Grand Finals
