Westpoint Blacktown is a large
shopping centre situated in Blacktown that is owned by the Queensland Investment Corporation (QIC). It was recently renovated and expanded, making it one of the biggest shopping centres in Western Sydney.Refurbishment
An extensive refurbishments commenced in 2003 and has taken several years to complete. The centre incorporates several key retail outlets: the two floor
Myer , Target,Big W ,Coles Supermarkets ,Franklins , and Woolworths supermarkets. The refurbishment incorporated an entertaimment precinct, which incorporates aHoyts 10 screen cinema, bowling alley, a "Morning Show" studio andvideo arcade . There is also an outdoor dining precinct and specialty stores.The refurbishment was to be undertaken by
Baulderstone Hornibrook Pty Ltd (BHPL). However BHPL and QIC became embroiled in legal proceedings regarding the payment of outstanding progress payments which BHPL claimed were owing to it. This court proceeding delayed construction. In October 2006, QIC terminated the contract with BHPL. The centre incorporates a large multi-level carpark.There is a taxi rank on level four.There is an underground bus station which provides a direct connection to Blacktown railway station.

The attached Westpoint office tower has various commercial services and other specialist facilities such as
