Yair Nitzani is an Israeli musician, comedian and satirist.
Nitzani started to get famous in the
80s asT-Slam 's keyboardist and vocalist. He wrote a few of the band's famous songs; among them are "Radio Chazak" (Loud Radio), "Partzufa Shel HaMdina" (The Country's Face), "Tnu Li Rokenrol" (Give Me Rock n' Roll) and "Od Pgisha" (Another Date)and "Chatzavim porchim" (The Sea Squills Are Blooming). His identifying mark in the band was a faucet glued to his forehead.After T-Slam disbanded he joined
Erez Tal andAvri Gilad on the show "Ma Yesh" (What's Up) in theIsraeli Army Radio , and "HaOlam HaErev" (The World Tonight) in Israeli Channel 2. He was also appointed to the CEO of theHed Artzi company, and was responsible for discoveries such asNatasha's Friends , Adam and a few more bands that were active in the end of the eighties.In his solo career his song "Hashem Tamid" was very famous, a song based on the character of "A Good Arabian" from "Ma Yesh".
