"The Southern Star", incorporating "The Skibbereen Eagle", is a weekly regional newspaper based in Skibbereen, County Cork in Ireland.
Established in 1889, it is the largest selling newspaper in the county. It is owned and edited by Liam O'Regan, employs about 30 people and has a weekly circulation of 15,500.
