Simon Plumbe is a

Born in Hallam Hospital (now Sandwell General Hospital) in
West Bromwich on 4th July 1971, Simon was educated first and Hamstead Infant and then Hamstead Junior School and subsequently to A-Level standard at Dartmouth High School inGreat Barr .He has one younger brother and no sisters. He currently has no children, is engaged and is an atheist.

His freelance writing work has included the Official
Star Trek Fan Club Of The UK,Amiga Pro,Amiga User International , CD32 Gamer (work originally written forAmiga Pro and sold on by the publishers but incorrectly credited to a different author), andMicro Mart , writing the regular Amiga Addiction page beforeSven Harvey took over writing Amiga Mart inMicro Mart in 1999 although he has continued to contribute to the publication on an ad-hoc basis, writing one-off features and acting as a stand-in forSven Harvey .Other Work
Simon has also worked in marketing, for the computer software PR firm Simply Gaming PR, as the editor of the CD-ROM based magazine for the
Amiga CD32 title CD Gold and is currently the site editor for the Casual Games website TunaSnax.Hobbies and Interests
Simon is the joint head and founder of the non-profit making science fiction organisation
Infinite Frontiers and is the primary co-organiser of the annual EuropeanTransFormers conventionAuto Assembly alongsideSven Harvey and for a while was the organiser of the official supporters club for theBirmingham Bullets professional basketball team in Birmingham.In his spare time, he is a keen computer and video game enthusiast, enjoys cooking, reading, travelling throughout the UK, and has strong passion for wildlife and is a support of the WWF.
