"Someday" is a pop song written by Thomas Jansson and Niklas Hillborn for German pop band No Angels' third studio album, "Pure" (2003). It was produced by Thorsten Brötzmann and received a mixed reception from music critics. The song was released as the album's second single on July 13, 2003 (see 2003 in music) and peaked at number 5 in Germany, number 16 in Austria and number 36 in Switzerland. The band premiered "Someday" during an acoustic concert in Munich club "P1".

Music video

The song's music video was directed by Katja Kuhl and filmed on various locations near the Le Luc Formula One racing track in Var, a department of southeastern France, in the week of June 9, 2003.cite web | title="No Angels - Exclusive Clippremiere bei MTV"| work=Youtube| url=http://www.campusinvasion.de/news/news.php?id=10007| accessdate=2007-03-22] It was filmed over twenty hours and largely waives choreographies since band member Nadja Benaissa suffered from a cruciate ligament rupture during the shoot.

Contentually, the video primarily features a love story between Vanessa Petruo and a male racing driver. While Benaissa serves as both the story's fictional writer and Petruo's friend, Sandy Mölling and Lucy Diakovska are seen as a mechanic and a racing driver respectively.

"Someday" worldpremiered on MTV Central's daily live show "MTV Select" on June 25, 2003.cite web | title="No Angels - Exclusive Clippremiere bei MTV"| work=Youtube| url=http://www.campusinvasion.de/news/news.php?id=10007| accessdate=2007-03-22]
