Most of Serbia's film industry is based in Belgrade, and one of the most notable films to be made there was1995 'sPalme d'Or winning "Underground", directed byEmir Kusturica . The city was one of the main centres of theYugoslav New Wave in the 1970s:VIS Idoli ,Ekatarina Velika andŠarlo Akrobata were all from Belgrade. Other notable Belgrade rock acts includeRiblja Čorba ,Bajaga i Instruktori and others. During the 1990s the city was the main centre (in theformer Yugoslavia ) of a musical style known asturbofolk .
