Frederick Irwin Anglican School (originally "Frederick Irwin Anglican Community School") is a private school located in Meadow Springs in Mandurah, Western Australia. It was founded in 1991 with 175 students, and currently has around 1370 students from kindergarten to year 12. The school motto is "The Truth Will Set You Free."

The school is named after Frederick Irwin, the acting Governor of Western Australia from 1847 to 1848. Frederick Irwin was a practising Anglican, a key figure in the Battle of Pinjarra and also helped to establish the General Board of Education.

The Grounds

The school is architecturally divided into the primary and secondary, bisected by the entrance road and connected via an underpass. A gymnasium with a mezzanine, sometimes used as an art gallery.

The library, surrounded by extensive green lawns, is soon to be joined by a drama department, due for completion sometime during 2008 ready to be used during 2009. The school in recent years has been renovated so that the entry and focus of the school is to Oakmont Drive instead of the busy Gordon Road.

House System

The school is divided into 4 houses.

*Ellis (marle grey) - Anthony Ellis, former Executive Officer, The Anglican Schools Commission. House leader
*Gordon (mid green) - Gordon Road, the street on which the school is located.
*Jamieson (royal blue) - Bishop Hamish Jamieson, Bishop of Bunbury, 1984 - 1999.
*Rose (red) - Dr Brennan Rose, Foundation Chairman of the school council, 1991 - 1992.

All student's in Primary and Secondary classes are placed in 'House Groups' usually three for each house, for each year. All student's in Secondary attend 'House Period' before officially starting lessons, except on Wednesday's due to a School Assembly Period or Inter-house Sporting session. Primary students have "House Group" Sports lessons and carnivals.
