State Route 72 (SR 72) is a short east-west road in the US state of Arizona, beginning 13 miles south of Parker at its junction with State Route 95, traveling on a southeast/northwest alignment, and ending at an intersection with U.S. Route 60 in Hope.

This road was formerly the main route to Parker until the realignment of State Route 95. SR 72 lies entirely in desert terrain in La Paz County.

Route description

The western terminus of SR 72 is located at a junction with SR 95 south of Parker. It heads east from this intersection before curving towards the southeast and passing through Bouse. It continues heading towards the southeast as it passes through the communities of Utting, McVay, Bush Pit and Vicksburg. The highway reaches its eastern terminus at a junction with US 60 in Hope. History

SR 72 was designated in 1930 as a route between Parker and Vicksburg.
