Erie Invaders

Erie Invaders

The Erie Invaders was a 2000 expansion team of the defunct Indoor Football League. The Invaders played their home games at the Louis J. Tullio Arena in Erie, Pennsylvania. They compiled a mediocre 6-8 regular season record, yet made the playoffs. However, a first exit from the Madison Mad Dogs ended their year. Just like the IFL, the Invaders ceased operations entirely when the league folded. The city of Erie would be without an arena football team until 2005, with the arrival of the Erie Freeze.
