other =The Samsung SGH-X820 marketed as "the world's slimmest
mobile phone " created bySamsung as a competitor to theMotorola SLVR L7 . It was announced in Q32006 . It has an in-built 2megapixel digital camera ,Bluetooth v1.2, 2-inch 262K color LCD screen with 220x176 resolution in landscape screen layout instead of the usual portrait screen layout of other phones. One of the major complaint was the fact that this phone does not have memory expansion slot. It has 80MB of in-built memory.
But the "world's slimmest mobile phone" record has since been surpassed by the Ultra Edition 5.9mm. Samsung created a new phone to beat its own slimmest phone, called Samsung U108.
Integrated camera
The X820 holds a 2 megapixel camera, thus taking pictures with a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200. The camera is in the top part of the phone, clearly visible where the phone is a bit thicker. Video Recording CIF 352*288.
Software
This phone by Samsung allows the user to simply install software on it by bluetooth. The user must download *.jar and *.jad files on the phone and then in "My Files" -> "Other files" choose a file with *.jad extension to install software. You have to unlock Java install first. To do this type *#9998*52824678255# (it is easier to remember its *#9998*javainstall#). Also a possible way to install software is by paying for it and downloading it with the phone itself.
