The Southeast Texas Mustangs are a franchise of the American Basketball Association based in Beaumont, Texas. They play their home games at Ford Arena. [http://www.kfdm.com/news/team_27373___article.html/basketball_texas.html]

The team was previously known as the Rio Grande Valley Silverados and played in the Continental Basketball Association while they were based out of McAllen, Texas. [http://www.cbahoopsonline.com/news.php?read=939] They played their home games at the McAllen Convention Center for their one season in the CBA before relocating and switching leagues. Ironically, the original Silverados were originally going to play in the American Basketball Association before choosing to go into the CBA.
