This is a complete list of episodes for the American sitcom "A Different World". The episode number reflects the order aired, which often differed from the order of filming, especially in the final season.

Hillman College Reunion
In August 2006, Nick At Nite aired a weeklong marathon of A Different World episodes. Lisa Bonet, Jasmine Guy, Kadeem Hardison, Darryl M. Bell, Cree Summer, and Sinbad reunited for short vignettes that provide a glimpse of the current state of their characters. Nick at Nite's website added details beyond those shown on television.
- Winifred "Freddie" Brooks: The one time flower child, social activist, Winifred became a family court judge with her own television show titled Judge Freddie. Some, such as Whitley Gilbert-Wayne, have accused her of selling out her values in exchange for rating points, especially after the addition of a shirtless, muscular male bailiff.
- Whitley Gilbert-Wayne: The author of the international bestseller "Southern Girls Don't Get Ugly", Whitley is still married to her pookie, Dwayne Wayne. Since moving to Japan, Dwayne and Whitley became parents to one child.
- Denise Huxtable-Kendall: After leaving Hillman, Denise travelled to Africa. During her trip, she married Lieutenant Martin Kendall and became a stepmother to his daughter Olivia. The couple also have one child together. No longer travelling across the globe, Denise keeps herself busy raising her family.
- Ron Johnson: A successful businessman, Ron became governor of Alabama. Following his victory, rumors circulating of voting irregularities among Ron's friends and family. Despite the controversy, Ron was sworn into office and made an unusual acceptance speech where he exclaimed, If you ain't cheating, you ain't trying! Rick James! Even years after his graduation, Ron keeps in contact with his Hillman family while acting as the godfather to Dwayne and Whitley's child.
- Jaleesa Vinson-Taylor: The mother of five daughters and stepmother to one son, Terrence, Jaleesa remains married to Colonel Bradford Taylor. A successful entrepreneur, Jaleesa runs the successful dot-com "Super Mommy." No mention is made of Colonel Taylor's daughter Suzanne who was present during Different World's second season.
- Dwayne Wayne: Following his relocation to Japan, Dwayne designed the hit game Girl Chase for the Kinishewa company. Soon after, Dwayne used the design of his sunglasses to create the widely popular flip cell phone. Married to Whitley Gilbert, the couple are the parents of one child.
